I have a Glock 19 and am looking for a good OWB Kydex holster. I have tried a couple of leather but like the kydex better. I do have a couple of paddles: Fobus, Bladetech, but they flop around too much when active. I do have a Glock sport combat holster that for $15 holds the gun great. I am looking for something "nicer" or "better."
Raven - seems to have lots of followers, can you get you hand in your front pants pocket? Looks like a pretty big apparatus.
Comp-Tac - anyone have any experience with those?
Other options?
Thanks for the information.

Did you try the Blade-Tech Eclipse? I agree about paddle holsters but the bulk and shifting typical for that style is the trade off for the ability to put it on and take it off quickly and easily. If you don't have to remove your holster frequently, I don't suggest a paddle holster.

I have a Raven Concealment holster and it works great. Holds the gun nice and tight to the body. I haven't had a problem getting my hand in my front pocket with it. Some of their glock holsters are quick ship now.

There are quite a few companies that have solid kydex holsters now. I'd go with either
1) Raven
or
2) Secret City Weaponeers
Probably Raven at this point if you can get a quick ship, others you may be waiting months for

I made an OWB hybrid (leather/kydex) for my PT145 w/laser and it's VERY comfortable. I used snap loop attachments, so it goes on/off almost as easy as a paddle holster (made one of those, too), but it's less bulky and rides tighter. If you're not into DIY, Comptac's Minotaur Gladiator is a similar style, although it appears to ride quite a bit lower than mine. I've never bought a Comptac holster, but I bought my daily-wear pistol belt from them and it is an excellent piece of work. (+1 on Comptac's great customer service. I ordered the wrong size belt the first time and returning it for the correct size was a breeze!)
Another apparently little known option is the Galco M7X Matrix. It's secure, comfortable and inexpensive ($30). I have one for my Kahr K40 and I really like it.
