Had a similar situation about 8 years ago. Turned out the guy was a cop (!) and was peeping and setting fires all over the neighborhood. I chased him once out the back yard and across a vacant lot. Probably a good thing that I didn't catch him. No telling what he was armed with.

He did about 6 years in jail. Got out briefly, and went back in for another offense.

Google Robert Crews McQueeney Texas if you want to read about it. WOAI and the Express News covered the story.

Sorry to hear. If this happened to my fiancee I would be beyond furious.

Food for thought: Why are all these occupants showering with an open window if this is a known issue? Replace clear pane class with the foggy or imperfect glass panes or use curtains or blinds. I'm not justifying the behavior of the criminal but until he's caught saying that he's doing something illegal is time better spent adding bear traps in the bushes.

I'm fairly certain that laying down bear traps in your yard is illegal.

Until animal control comes and picks up your dog for a 10 day quarantine on your dime.

ETA: I don't agree with it, but that's an SOP for dog vs person. That said, in that scenario, the local SWAT would get a call for a barricaded subject before I turn over my dog for biting a trespasser in my backyard. I'd call the media to shoot video too.

The way I would handle this is to let them look. Then, when they think it was my wife coming out of the shower, it wouldn't be her, it would be ME! THAT would teach them to peep. They might even shoot their OWN eyes out!! :biggrinjester:

Only problem with that is he would turn around and sue you, and then you would have to support him for the rest of his miserable life. If burglars successfully sue for falling through roofs, or cutting themselves on glass they broke, then they could nail you for that.

OK, that I like! Probably should not admit it, but I like it.

I've never heard of this happening, not in Texas anyway. Not when someone is on property he doesn't belong doing something he shouldn't be doing. I'm not saying these things don't happen, but people are always talking about these cases, but the only places I've ever read about is from strange places like England or Conneticut. never Texas
