Well talk to DPS on Friday and they said that they had a problem printing my CHL. The said that they had to print it in a different way and that it would probably get in the mail by Monday. They said I should have it in about one week. I wander if they are having the same problem with yours.bernie-attorney wrote:Like noosh, I seemed to have stalled for a day or two at "Manufacturing." IIRC, I checked Wed after hours and that's when it moved to "Manufacturing." Still there Sat AM.
Here's my chrono so far:
Online Application 9/1/11
Class Completed 10/1/11
Packet Mailed 10/2/11
Fingerprints Taken 10/6/11
Fingerprints: Complete 10/12/11
Background Completed: 10/18/11
Manufacturing Pending (10/19/11)
Manufacturing (10/20/11)
I thought I'd have it Mon/Tues; likely Wed or so now. So about 3 weeks from my last item that had to be submitted (fingerprints). Still not bad for gubmint work. I moved to TX eight years ago, and the speed and transparency (e.g., we
can get day-to-day status of the CHL process) of TX state and local govt, compared to 3-4 jurisdictions I dealt with in the Northeast, is pretty remarkable.
