The best part of Jakes little hissy fit way of "I'm going to go out on my own terms" was that opened the door for Mike, the guy he liked the least to get back on the show.

So now, Jakes gone and Mikes there. How does that feel, jake?

My Momma told me not to say anything about someone if I could not say something nice.

But my Momma never saw Jake!!! Surely she would have made a big exception for him!!!

NOT!
I wonder if he'll do one?
I have one interview with Gary that is still in the process of being written up.

I'd love to do more interviews, but I don't know that I'll get the opportunity to do so. The marketing firm that I worked with to facilitate the interviews doesn't have any more slots. I might be able to work out another arrangement, but I don't really have many details on that yet.

Hope it works out with Gary. He seems like a regular guy. I would enjoy hearing his take on things.

Cool episode last night. I think it was neat to see something like an SP89 be used - pretty unconventional if you ask me, especially considering how they used it! That stage looked like so much fun. Additionally, seeing them use the Steyr SPP was cool as well. That certainly isn't a gun you see everyday.

Mike has pretty much proved that when he buckles down "under the gun" he can get things done. He absolutely destroyed the elimination challange last night - watching him, he was just like a machine transitioning from target to target . Something that my wife mentioned that it's almost like he posesses almost a kind of frustrating calm. A few episodes back Jake almost got him to snap, but it was pretty crazy watching that exchange because it almost seemed like he just flipped a switch and then went back to his normal calm self, thus defeating Jakes challange.

Bummer to see Gary lose last night but man did (Zombie) Mike ever perform well in his elimination rematch against the guy who had sent him home previously.
Sure looked like a fun challenge on both counts and again Dustin impresses but then Chris barely topped him.

uh .. actually Alex lost elimination and went home. Gary - who defeated Mike in elimination a few episodes back - is one of the Final 4 remaining

good Final 4 too, exactly as I thought it would/should be since it was down to about 7 or 8 left (of course, Mike had to do the zombie thing to make it happen). I really like Gary a lot (just a great overall personality, temperment, focus etc - kind of guy you'd want on your team), Dustin is scary talented and a super nice kid, and Chris is soft-spoken but could easily win this whole thing. And as mentioned earlier, Mike can be a machine when he's hitting on all cylinders.

Oops sorry I mixed up what I thought was going to happen (Mike picking Gary to have an elimination rematch to redeem himself) with what really happened.

Dustin ALL THE WAY. What an amazing performance and couldn't happen to a nicer guy in my opinion.

Awesome finale. Dustin just totally smoked that course! I totally respect Mike though, and was pulling for both of them just the same. The fact that Mike seemed to be totally Zen for the most part had me surprise. Both had great skill.

I do really wish Gary would have made it though. Ah well!

Im glad to see that overall the competitors this season were more honorable (jake excluded ) than last season. Let's hope that next season rocks even harder!

I'll put money on that next season is going to have plenty of people like Jake around. More drama, less shooting. I guarantee it.

Everbody I know who would have loved the last show quit watching a long time ago because of Jake and the drama. If ever show had been like tonights' they would have had a bunch more gun folks watching.

Yeah many folks I know who watch seemed to loose interest due to Jake and stop watching.
I stuck it out and was rewarded with seeing Jake leave like a spoiled little boy who didn't get things his way ("I'm taking my ball and going home!").
Once he was gone, nothing but great guys and shooters were left and the nicest seeming and obviously most talented took it home.
