I suppose one could call Jake an oxyMoron.

Well not surprising Jake left without firing a shot in the elimination phase. Truly a poor sportsman!! :cryin :cryin

Yeah, that was the worst sportsmanship i've seen on the show so far. But i'm glad he won't tarnish the show's name any longer :woohoo

Jake?!.... Not Jake?.... I'm so sad that he's leaving.... He was my favorite shooter on Top Shot. I can't believe he is leaving! I'm really sad....

FALSE!....
Good Riddance. He was such a horrible person.

Agreed. God, I could NOT stand that guy. Just the poorest sportsmanship I have EVER seen. I don't care how he can justify anything he says with his self-righteous milarkey. Good riddance!

:tiphat:

Now I can finally enjoy the show. :cheers2:

After the competition Jake is at the end of the row and his body language says it all. He raises both arms over his head then crosses his arms and stays that way during the rest of the camera shots. I liked the solution to his leaving and we should've known there was a rule in place to handle that situation.

Call me a bit mean-spirited, but I had to laugh when I considered Jake's probable reaction to seeing Mike (his apparent nemesis and seemingly good sport) coming back to the show due to the walk-out. Just rewards indeed.

I'm holding out hope for Jake saying, "To heck with you guys, I'm going home"

Of course that won't be it since the teaser was kinda hinting that way, but a man can still dream...
And it could rain in Texas!
Well...it did rain in Texas earlier this week :evil2:

It was somehow vindicating to see Jake walk and Mike return. But I didn't really expect that he would out gun Phil on the Sako...

UNTIL HE TOSSED THE MAG!

I wonder if Jake made it through BUD'S training and if he did how long did he stay. I met several Navy SEAL'S and most of the time they do not talk about what they do.

If it has a positive effect on promoting firearms to the "masses", God bless-em but doing all the trick shooting like firing pistols upside down is really not a very responsible thing to do.

I was so glad to see Jake leave the show. All previous posts about his lack of sportsmanship were spot on.
When it was obvious he was having trouble with the handgun both my wife and I shouted at the screen: "Tap, Rack, Bang!"
I cannot believe this guy was a Seal.
After watching him take the cowards way out and walk off the show, I'm reluctant to admit he is a man.
