THANKS to this Forum - New CHL

Just wanted to say a quick THANKS to this forum and all who post. I found it very informative while researching CHL and the process and also when applying. I got my License in the mail about a week ago so I guess I am officially a member.

Also, I used the information on this forum to research a holster and decided on a Comp-Tac Minotaur Spartan (like the M-TAC, not finished as nicely, but a little thinner). I couldn't be happier.

Lots of good information. I plan to use it regularly from here on out.

Yes, wonderful forum. It is, presently, the only gun forum I come to regularly. I used to go to the XDtalk forum, but have really pulled back. It seems many people there are just out to show they know one more thing than the last guy...lots of attitude. Sorry, I am 54 and happy with myself. On the other hand, I can come here and almost always find a welcoming atmosphere with people who genuinely want to help you out.

This is one of the better gun forums on the web. I joined about 2 months before I recieved my CHL in the mail and it absolutely helped better prepare me.

I'm thanking this forum too!!! If not for all the wisdom, I'd still be wondering which hip to carry my holster on!

On a serious note, this forum has helped to educate me about CHL, the second amendment, and everything I know about firearms.

I have to agree. This forum is my one daily read when it comes to guns, related Texas and Federal laws, etc. Many thanks to Charles and the moderators.
