"Dropping a Deuce" in public
Having a CHL and carrying has caused me to reevaluate all aspects of public activity and I just happened to think about this particular issue today. It doesn't happen often but there comes a time when you are out and about and you have to "take a load off". Normally (pre-carrying) I just drop trowl to my ankles and take care of business. Now, as I carry in a Blackhawk OWB CQC w/paddle at 3:00, that will not be possible as most public bathroom stalls are open on all sides approx 12" high. I figure that I can only lower my pants to my knees but I will have to be sure the weight of my loaded 1911 and extra magazines doesn't drag them down. I was wondering if anyone else has thought about this or how they deal with it. I have yet to have the need to do it yet.

This has been brought up before. I found this thread using the search function for "public bathroom" (without the quotes): viewtopic.php?f=7&t=32688

It has been brought up several times. It most often becomes a problem rather quickly. This is a "G" forum. There are several other gun boards on the internet that love this topic to come up.
Please remember "G" rated
No jokes
no inuendo
Mixed company here so make sure you would say it in Charles Cotton's living room.

So sorry. I didn't intend to offend anyone. I thought it was a valid question. I am new to this forum. In fact I have never joined any forum before until I saw this one and thought it looked interesting. I think I will go back to just reading forums now. Thanks.

Re: "Dropping a Deuce" in public
I have posted this reply before please forgive me for repeating.
I have an undershirt that I bought from Cabellas in Fort Worth
It is made of a strechy material like elastic
Has two pockets for a pistol one under each arm
Works just like a sholder holster. Very easy to get your gun out
Holds your gun very securely. Just wear a shirt that is a size larger
than what you usually wear to get rid of printing.
Draw back it is uncomfortable to wear but not so bad as
you won't be able to stand it. I paid $60.00 for it.
I have also seen them online

Please note that you were not being scolded (as I see it) for your question, its just every time 'this' subject comes up, the jokes start to come out and the ground rules were just being laid.
Please do take advantage of this forum and the people on it.
Don't just go to the reading side of it.
