Ft Worth: Good smaritans chase down purse-snatchers

Could have ended badly, but did not.

4 teens witness 2 BGs assault and rob a couple of TCU coeds and jump in a car and leave.
Good guys (4) in pickup give chase, ends up back where they came from, cops pick up at that point.

Kinda/Sorta/but Not Quite similar one of our kiddos was helping a customer to her car when there was a bump and snatch purse grab. Supposedly, the customer was knocked down. Our kiddo took off after the bump/snatch/assault culprit and said worthy young culprit vaulted over a railing of the loading dock.

Surprise. The bottom of the ramp was about 4.5 ' below the railing and the bump, grab, and now assault opportunist kiddo had an abrupt landing.

The wanna be thief/assault kid got a ride to Parkland Hospital. Our kiddo didn't get involved in litigation or was required to testify. Don't know how Kroger faired.

As a contrast my Step-Dad had a heart attack and his ride was a shade less than $600.00.
