A Mom's gotta do what a Mom's gotta do, but I dont remember this being on the list of duties of motherhood:

How does a convicted felon expect to buy a gun at a gun store anyway? She has two convictions; one was two years for burglary.

She wasn't buying guns from the LGS, she was hiring people to go into the store and buy the guns for her.

So she was using a straw purchaser to buy for her so she could sell to Cartel.

Did I read correctly that at least one of her straw purchasers was an Illegal as well? If so, really smart girl there!

EDIT: Changed Felon to Illegal.

Hmmmmm.....excuse me as I adjust my Tin Foil Hat...my reception is bad in my bunker...

Call me paranoid or maybe too skeptical but this just seems too perfect for my likes...

Let's see here... The cartels MUST be dumb cause they must have been thinking this wont be TOO OBVIOUS... I know let's get us a hispanic woman to buy us guns ... So, a woman is recruited by a Mexican drug cartel to buy the weapons for them and she asks 3 Hispanic males 2 of which are illegal and they just happen to need huh, 5.56 caliber weapons ... Just like the ones used in the fast and furious scandal. And boy oh boy the authorities just happen to be Johnny on the spot and were RIGHT THERE to arrest the offending individuals... :smilelol5:

Let's see if this makes national news and is used as a sounding board for the Obama Admin and the BATFE to shout...

:woohoo "See, this is EXACTLY the stuff we were trying to uncover with our covert operations on the border! They have simply moved a few hours north due to our outstanding police work!" :woohoo

With all the other countries in the world and arms dealers this is the most cost efficient or easiest way to obtain weapons? Doubtful... ;-)

Wow, 4 rifles that may cost $3200 to $4500 NIB are to be immediately resold for $15,000 that is more than :bigmouth %300 illegal profit.
However, are those straw purchasers so stupid?

Also, how the original straw purchaser was easily "flipped" unless confronted with "evidence of guilt"" i.e. audio/video evidence of the straw deal?

I don't know who those were for but the cartels get weapons much cheaper from the Mexican police and military.

Of course you did. You titled the thread (with the contraction spelled out), "MOM IS TRYING TO BUY GUNS FOR THE CARTEL".

I'd say the title is fitting when the first 4 words of the article are.... and I quote... "A mother of three..."

Hence the "Mom" in the title. I saw no reason to make a connection between the OP and the person in the story. Just my 2 cents though. :???:
