Ballistic polymer - Where to get it

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

Does anyone know where I can get ballistic polymer and in what form it comes? I'd like to buy it in sheets of a certain thickness, if it comes that way. I tried to do a Google search but all I get is "self-sealing targets."

Thanks,
Chas.

Thanks guys, but I'm looking for polymer used to make products like self-sealing targets. Here is a website with an example of the material. http://www.rts-ip.com/catalog.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I have a specific use in mine and I need it in sheets.

Thanks,
Chas.

I find lots of references to ballistic polymer targets made of "champion dura seal", but I haven't been able to track down a source for the material itself.

There's an unanswered query on this same topic on The High Road.

Would something like this work, or is it too thick?
