Well, that's interesting... Regarding SB321:

It allows all firearms and ammunition and most industry employees are protected, with or without a concealed handgun license.

Employers may not prohibit employees with a concealed handgun license from having firearms or ammunition in their personal cars in the employer’s parking lot.

Also, thought this was interesting...

DPS must create a pass for expedited access to the state Capitol building. To be eligible, an applicant must meet the criteria to apply for a concealed handgun license, with the exception of handgun proficiency requirements. (HB 2131, effective May 30, 2011)

By some of the less scrupulous police agencies/officers. As someone else pointed out, tow truck drivers seem to have a habit of turning those lights on all the time. This may not be a bad thing, but it is a fact. Suppose you see a cop sitting there with no lights on, but the tow truck driver sitting there has his lights on. The cop may be just waiting for someone to go by without slowing/moving over.

There were reports of some cities that set up traps like this when the move over law first went into effect. I see it happening again, especially since there was less publicity about this change.

...I would back up anything in that media release by reading the law...bureaucrats have been known to get it wrong and say it wrong...this wouldn't help you in court if it had an error in it...I feel safe with the enrolled version of the actual law...nothing else...unless it's a state-printed handbook like the LS-16...I believe that would be enough to get you off if it was printed in error...
