It is not Batman, but hey, the BG is lucky he was not shot and killed, the GG helped a bit, a CHLer could do too but in Illinios only BGs can carry concealed handguns.
Tom Lashinski was walking his mother's small dog in the North Center neighborhood early Sunday when he noticed two people scuffling in an alley.

"It was like something out of Batman ... with Batman jumping into someone and people rolling around and getting up and going back at it.

...he doubtless saved her life...or maybe the perp's...because without help, she might have had to shoot him...glad he stepped up...when forced to pin a struggling suspect, my best results were to kneel on one knee in the small of their back...one hand holding their neck down...they couldn't get a hold of me nor could they get leverage to get up...there're probably other ways...but that got me through...and I could still see approaching problems...we had very little training in my day...

...our hero WAS armed, by the way... he had a dog leash...cut off a man's wind and he forgets about anything but breathing...every man who's wearing a belt can use that...
