Reporting in

Post by FM_Weasel »

Submitted my application on the 20th of November, they received it on the 22nd of Nov.

Haven't heard anything back, no pin number or anything. Called them two weeks ago and they said it hadn't gone to investigations yet.

At this rate I'll probably be an 80 day wonder at least.

Good to be here everyone!

Hey FM,

Welcome aboard, I'm new myself but I guess I'll be the first one to welcome you in  so pull up a chair, get a cup of coffee, get close to the fire to get warm and kick back, everybody here is very nice and friendly, not to mention the wealth of information and they are willing to share.

It seems that you are on the same exact boat as I am, I mailed my package to Austin the same day that you did and I waited and waited until I got tired of it, so I decided to call and every time they would give me a "canned" response, both via e-mail and on the phone, but that was only until I spoke on the phone with a guy that had brains and that was willing to go the extra mile, and he did because I told him that it was over 7 weeks since I had mailed my package and I had received nothing and they haven't even put it in their system, well, guess what, he went and research and my application was buried 6 feet under somebody's desk, so he went ahead and rescued it and he input it into the system himself and now I have a PIN number that he provided right over the telephone and now it shows "Processing Application". I suggest you do the same thing, be corteous but persistant, I figured they finally got tired of me calling

Good luck and I hope that you receive your plastic very soon in the mail.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time getting them to answer. But I only get ten minute breaks during the day, it's probably not enough. Maybe e-mail will be the best way to communicate with them. I'll try again tomorrow (couldn't get them to answer today)

EDIT: Got ahold of them today. It moved to processing on the 11th and they sent my pin, which I haven't received. Still waiting on a reply to my e-mail that requested one. Maybe they'll just e-mail it to me

Looks like I'll be here for a while, so welcome and come in and join the fun. I haven't even sent mine in yet, so I have some waiting to do!
