The draw is great; Easier than from my Kholster actually. You can adjust the tension to make it as tight or as loose as you wish. And sitting down is not an issue. The end of the barrel is at least 2 inches from the seat.

I appreciate it. I am looking at a very similar holster from Galco. They have two holsters that are made the same it is just that one is a regular holster and the other is a slide version. I was looking at the slide due to it being able to carry more then one length of 1911 but those were my concerns.

A full sized 1911 is just as concealable as any other pistol and conceals much easier than you may thing. As other's have said dress around the gun. Spend the money (if you are able) on a quality holster and a quality GUN belt. The belt makes all the difference. I'd suggest looking for a 7 hole belt instead of the typical 5 hole as it give more room for adjusting.

I had to let my CHL lapse due to financial reasons. When I carried I carried a full sized Springfield in an OWB Tucker holter. My belt is a Rafter S gun belt. No problem concealing it at all. The belt takes all of the weight.
