The victim was reportedly shot once in each arm and leg and transported to Mass General.

Despite Massachesetts' repressive gun laws? I doubt it. The victim had to have shot himself, since their "sensible" laws allow a citizen to own a gun but also keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Obviously a botched suicide attempt.

And right next to Harvard? How dare he do that?

Not the first time a reporter is inaccurate. That road is in Allston, not Brighton.

Exactly.....but being a lawful gunowner from Massachusetts, he probably didn't get much practice. Too much trouble trying to figure out how to lawfully carry the gun to the range. My guess is that he also had a lot of time on his hands. :mrgreen:

Broadcast airtime has value and helps to form opinions that'd lead to a pre-determined conclusion. Its called marketing.

A 'contractor' is an entity who does a job of work or performs a service for contractural wages. The news bite seems to paint the 'contractor' as a mercinary. Coulda been someone who agreed to service the pool/hot tub, a security service, or an armed tradesman.
