Signs signs everywhere there's signs
Went out to eat tonight and saw this sign on the outside of the building so I carried on in!
Then I saw this one on the inside!
I was thinking about sending them an e-mail but decided to just let it be so they don't 30-06 the place.

They are required by the TABC to put up that second sign. You can carry right past it...

I like the blue felony warning signs much better than the red 51% signs.pbwalker wrote:They are required by the TABC to put up that second sign. You can carry right past it...

I don't think they have any problems with the law-abiding CHL holder carrying.

Hmmm, "No Handguns", huh? Guess it's OK to bring my AK in with me.

In Texas, there are signs and then there is THE sign. In other states, there are signs and they are all signs.

Yes, AFAIK. But not into private property where the owner doesn't allow it. Just like any other firearm, or any other object for that matter.GhostTX wrote:Aren't we allowed to carry long-arms legally open.sjfcontrol wrote:Hmmm, "No Handguns", huh? Guess it's OK to bring my AK in with me.
My point was that sign wouldn't stop somebody with firearms other than handguns.

Re: Signs signs everywhere there's signs
This amazing new modern wonder of gun control sign doesn't even stop people with handguns... such a time we live in! I vote we call it the "Pelosi Sign", since it does nothing for anybody, looks tacky, and takes up too much spacesjfcontrol wrote:My point was that sign wouldn't stop somebody with firearms other than handguns.

Re: Signs signs everywhere there's signs
It may not stop anybody, but it DOES make it illegal (30.05 trespassing) should somebody carry a handgun into the establishment
without a CHL.
