COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A man is dead after the motel clerk he tried to sexually assault and rob early Monday morning fought back and killed him, deputies said.
Lott said the clerk had been victimized in one of two recent robberies at the same Days Inn and had gotten permission from her employer to carry a .22 caliber gun.

Watson is also believed to be the man who shot and killed Papa John's Pizza store manager Steven Fowler in June.
Not the same guy. Watson was a suspect from two previous robberies the victim had been involved in and she had gotten permission to carry the .22 becuase of that those events.

...her employer should be treated to a steak dinner...he cares more for his employees than most large corporations...I had a young gal at a 7-11 fend off a flasher twice within an hour one night...remote location...I gave her a .22 High Standard to put in her apron...sure enough, he came back a third time 20 mins. later...she called the station, but wasn't scared this time...she was laughing...she pulled the gun and told him if he wanted that thing, he'd better put it away and leave...he did, and didn't return...her area supv. came by and threatened to fire her about the gun...I took him outside and told him if she got fired, he'd end up in the hospital...he didn't report her...I hate to see women alone at night in any job...of course they should be armed...I know...wrong of me, but what if she'd been YOUR daughter...we did what worked back then...cell phones took up half the trunk and didn't have cameras in them...common sense was rampant...life was good...

how many 0.22 pistols are good for carry? I thought tom cats are 0.25 and 0.32 the smallest pocket to carry. One shot, one kill. On huge kill, the BG is BIG
Most likely, a heart shot.

If wouldn't say it like the way you did. I would say, "I wish you'll end in a hospital, I wish you will have a car accident"

...having made two previous calls there with his terrified, sobbing employee...while he was safely asleep in his bed...and him telling her she'd be OK, just write it up...I wanted him to clearly understand...which he did...back then more was expected from a man in leadership over a young woman...she didn't belong out there in the boonies where no people were within 1/2 mile of her, in the first place...then after she handles it herself, he wants to come out and be the Man...nope...didn't work that way back then...I wouldn't recommend it nowadays...for a lot of reasons...

I didn't realize it was a test. It was an honest question and I was just curious.
Sorry to have annoyed you...
