I'm pretty cheap, so I just now picked it up. I play by Doubletap on the servers, so if you see a Doubletap ask if I'm from Texas.

I've devolved to doing all of my gaming on Xbox. Doing IT for a job has killed any enjoyment I used to get out of tinkering with computers.

I''m on board as soon as the file is done downloading. I'm a day and a half in now and 62% done. I can't wait to give it a try.Gunner21 wrote:This so screams of getting a TexasCHL clan together.

Re: Team Fortress 2 is now free
I saw this the other day, I may just play it finally. I've been avoiding it because I got sick of getting destroyed and yelled at by 12-year-olds. If I don't have to pay for it, perhaps I could tolerate it a bit more :)

Re: Team Fortress 2 is now free
I picked up the Orange Box a couple of years ago. It had the Half-Lifes, TF2, portal and a few others. It was pretty good deal at the time.
I highly recommend Portal (and now Portal 2) to any who haven't played. Left for Dead 2 is also good for zombie bashing.
And, there is a free mod to the HL2 engine called Zombie Panic Source. It is pretty cool. Unlike most zombie shooters, this starts out with most everybody as human and only one or two zombies. Then, as the zombies begin killing the humans, they re-spawn as a zombie. So you get to see the tide start turning as zombies begin outnumbering the humans. It also has realistic weapons and carrying limits.

That's pretty slick. Too bad I don't play games on PC anymore.
