Our tax dollars hard at workOver the past six months, Santiago-Serrano told authorities he stole $50,000 worth of computers, GPS devices and other electronics from luggage he screened, took pictures of them to post for sale online and sold the items often by the time his shift ended.

That's a felony. I hope they get him good.

If its that easy to take stuff OUT of luggage,
Then its that easy to put stuff INTO luggage!!!!!!!
(And on and off the airport. )
TSA is pure nonsense.

Re: Florida TSA employee arrested for alleged thefts
Oh, that can't happen. TSA Agents and everyone involved in handling your luggage is run through a full background check and stuff to verify that they'll never, ever, do anything illegal.blue wrote:If its that easy to take stuff OUT of luggage,

Oh wait....
Either that, or a simple Tiger Kidnapping situation of the right TSA Agent/screener's family is all that would be needed to sneak something HUGE through their 'impenetrable wall of security'
As long as something is run/controlled by humans, it will be vulnerable. Period.
Clearly, the answer is to get Skynet built ASAP!
IANAL, YMMV, ITEOTWAWKI and all that.
