Maybe that's the answer. Do these "gun toatin liberals" actually know what they are claiming to believe in when they call them selves liberals?
maybe you could shed some light on that loadedliberal :biggrinjester: since you're a closet conservative and all :woohoo
There are some issues you could call me a conservative on there are some you could call me libertarian on and some you can call me liberal on, I'm just all over the map. :biggrinjester:

Sounds like a Country song:

I swear that's the intro to a Chris LeDoux song...
Dwight Yoakam, actually...

I think folks everywhere are confusing SOCIAL vs POLITICAL Liberalism/Conservatism. Socially, folks can be in favor of Liberal agendas, but still be Centrist or even Conservative fiscally and politically. And the same is true for the other side of the aisle. Far-Right Social conservatives can be more centrist fiscally and politically.

The real problem is that people (voters and representatives) are so darn muddied about how to vote.... Do I vote for my social issues first???

I say NO...!!!! Emphatically....

If people would vote their fiscal and political priorities (small government, Constitution, etc.), and realize their social agenda can be (generally) advanced through their actions in their own community, city and state, this country wouldn't be in the mess we're in....

The problem, IMO, is that voters are voting their SOCIAL agenda and the media is happy to help whip up the frenzy.
Yes... I believe it's that simple... No, it won't be easy to fix.

'Twas a joke because Dwight's song was about cars and guitars. I figured Chris LeDoux did the one about Guitars and guns. ;-)
