Not a problem, ELB and 74novaman. At least no one has offered a Desert Eagle. That might hurt a bit in the wallet!

Looks like I'm still game ....however my schedule has been changing almost daily... if I go I will be bringing:
Bushmaster ORC 5.56
870 tactical 12ga
XD 5in 45apc
XD4in 40s&w
glock 23c 40s&w
and maybe 1911loaded Springfield 45
Prefer brass case factory loads in all my firearms however the glock and xds have about 4 thousand rounds between them with no issues

Re: San Antonio get together
I am interested, if I can make it. Depends on when they send me back to work! I am in the Merchant Marine (navy).
If so I can bring:
ruger LCR in .38
marlin 1894 in .357 (sweeeeeeet!)
mossberg 590A1 (is the bayonet to much?)
ruger 10/22
s&w 22A
glock 23
colt 6920 with some goodies attached
keltec sub 2000 in 9mm (glock magazines)
quite happy for anyone to shoot anything I own

Cool! I've still got about 3/4 box of Magtech .357 that might be fun to run through your 1894!biggyin wrote:I am interested, if I can make it. Depends on when they send me back to work! I am in the Merchant Marine (navy).

BTW, everyone's welcome to my guns, too (listed above a few posts). Not sure how much ammo I'll have, so bring on any factory ammo you want to shoot through them.

Re: San Antonio get together
to make it more official, if I'm coming (about 90% sure I am right now) I'll be bringing the following
Rock Island 1911s, in both 5 inch and 3.5 inch
FEG Hi Power clone
Rossi .38 revolver and a Taurus .357 revolver
Marlin 1894 in .357
FEG AMD-65 (AK variant) (7.62x39)
Saiga AK-47 (7.62x39)
Ruger 22/45 in .22lr
If you bring the ammo, you're welcome to shoot anything I have. I really can't afford to let you shoot my ammo though, because I'm currently job hunting.

Re: San Antonio get together
We are planning on coming, the husband and I. Don't know if the 17 (almost 18) year old daughter will want to come or not. Haven't got a clue which guns he'll bring, sorry. I'll have my carries - S&W and LCP.

I will try to be there with my m&p 9 and xdsc 9. I won't bring my accordion because you should not mix guns and accordions.

Re: San Antonio get together
And I totally forgot about my granddaughter's birthday party on the 18th. And a rain delay won't help me as I'm booked for the next three weekends. Drats.

I think we're meeting for bar b que at 11, then off to the range. Other than that, looks right to me!badgerw wrote:Let me see if I have this correct:

And bring ammo. Several people have offered others to try their hardware if you provide the ammo. ... Very nice I must say.
I plan to attend also. I will post what I will bring this week too.
Dont forget targets too. They have them for sale there as well. Some places like Reds dont even let you use your own targets!! Lone star is great, I've got an annual membership.
** I will bring several NEW UNOPENED S&W, M&P 45acp magazines (10 & 14 round) if anyone wants to trade for 40cal, or 9mm mags. Prefer 40cal.

Right. We are meeting at Kreutz's Barbecue at 11:00 and should get to the range about 1:00. I think I have a way to make it easier to identify us in Kreutz's. I will get a small Texas flag on a stand and put it on the table. Look for the Texas flag at the restaurant, and then again at the range if you don't get to eat with us. I will also try to get some "My name is" type stickers.
Now watch me not be able to find a Texas flag in a small stand.

Just bring a 3footx5foot and assign someone to wave it as if rallying the troops.srothstein wrote:
