I just bought a new (used) Kahr PM9
As the title says, I just sprung for a used Kahr PM9 Black with Night Sights.
I haven't taken pictures yet, but the pictures from the website listing where I found it are attached below. The gun is used and it was purchased from S&R Sales and Pawn in Balch Springs. The condition is very good. There is very slight holster wear on the slide release lever, but the rest of the gun is virtually flawless. I would call it at 99%. The night sights are still bright. Total round count is unknown, but the sales clerk told me he took the gun in trade from a friend of his, and he is fairly certain that the round count is fairly low. It came with the original case containing the gun, a 6 round magazine, a 7 round magazine with extension, and a trigger locking mechanism. The original operating instructions booklet was included. They were asking $599.00 for this pistol and I pointed out that Kahr does not extend the warranty when the pistols are resold and offered $550.00. He accepted that price.
I called Kahr Arms and asked if they could give me the date of manufacture from the serial number. The guy there told me that it was manufactured in December of 2004, so it was probably first purchased around 6 to 6.5 years ago.
Anyway, I've got what I was looking for—a single stack pocketable 9mm semiauto. My wife agreed that it would probably fit in her purse very well, so I'm going to have to save up to buy another one, I imagine.

Nice pickup!
Looks like it will fill the same roll that my PPS does.

Re: I just bought a new (used) Kahr PM9
I have a PM9 which is my favorite handgun. Very low recoil. More accurate than I am. Have had it for several years. In fact, I bought the PM9 because my wife picked out a P9 for herself and liked it so much that I had to eventually have a Kahr also. In this case, I tried my wife's handgun instead of vice-versa. My wife won't even try another gun and carries her P9 in a ($) Galco purse all the time.
Neither of our Kahr 9mms have had any problems. (But my Kahr P360 is different story).
Hope you have as much luck with yours as I have with mine.

Congratulations! Good choice. I hope you love it as much as I love my Kahr E9.

My everyday carry since early March. I've put 900+ rounds through it and love it. It disappears IWB . It replaced my G27 which I now carry on the hiking trail OWB. Enjoy

Well I can't wait until I can get it to the range. Austinrealtor has kindly offered to send me his left over Desantis Nemesis that he had for his PM40, so I'll be able to carry it soon.
A range report will follow in a few days.

Well this throws another possibility into my list of considerations for a carry gun. Y'all are making this difficult.

My PM9 is my carry choice 99% of the time. You will soon discover that it is so comfortable as an IWB carry, pocket carry won't even crosss your mind. Crossbreed makes a mini tuck for it that I love! Practice...practice...practice as this gun can have a bit of a snap to it.
I carry with the extended magazine in it and carry the shorter magazine as my back up rounds. The extra length on the extended is hardly noticeable for concealment and the extra length makes drawing a bit easier.

I love my P40. I held the PM40, but didn't fire one. My hands are a little large to hold it comfortably.
Re: I just bought a new (used) Kahr PM9
I carry a PM9 and it is a great gun. They can sometimes be finicky on the ammo used due to the steep feed ramp, but a good fluff and buff and any ammo that has a semi-rounded/tapered nose should feed fine. I use the CorBon Pow'rBall ammo that has the nylon ball in the tip and it feeds great (besides having awesome ballistics!)
As for shooting, I have found these to be the most comfortable guns to shoot for a sub-compact, even with +P rounds. The grip design is a lot more comfortable than most others due to the way it breaks over the hand. It is longer and seems to help override the recoil. Mine runs flawlessly.
I usually carry mine in a DeSantis Nemesis in either the actual pocket or a cargo pocket of shorts. I also have been known to carry it in pocket to church in my Dockers or suit coat pocket.

Congrats. Those are very nice guns!
Re: I just bought a new (used) Kahr PM9
The thing that amazes me about Khar's is how heavy their springs are. I just bought a cw40 (I don't need all that fancy milling :P) and the recoil on the gun was very manageable. After 150 rds my wrist wasn't sore and the gun was accurate at 15 yrd line took out the middle 2 middle rings of shootnsee target. Its a good gun and I am happy with the purchase enjoy yours I pocket carried mine on Sunday didn't like it much but I have the shell for my mtac coming in pretty quick and I am sure it'll disappear once tucked in my shirt and at least pocket carry is still an option. Now just to buy the night sights.
