Wow, you can't beat that kind of service. The company president takes an interest in a minor comment on our board, and joins in to correct the problem. That is truly impressive.

I could not find something in their store so they ordered it from another store and held it for me until I came in to buy it. That's truly stellar customer service.

Since last year when I discovered GT, I have not bought a single thing from any other store or gunshop--including range ammo. I have to drive from San Angelo to either Dallas or Austin to buy, but I'm more than happy to make a laundry list, then stock up when I actually am there. When it comes to firearms, it is near impossible to beat their NEW prices if you have police/military discount. The customer service is fantastic.. smart folks who know their products.

President of GT- thank you so much for giving us such a great store to shop at.

I won't buy anything from GT Distributors. They took my order for a Ruger SR1911 last month and just recently started letting people know that they will no longer sell Rugers to civilians. When I called to check on the status of my order, they looked it up and promptly canceled it due to their new policy. The customer service rep even claimed to check with a supervisor/manager to see if those placing orders before the new policy were okay and he was told to cancel my order.

I passed on a couple other opportunities to buy an SR1911, since I already placed an order with GT (eta - and I can't locate any available now, w/out getting on a wait list). The best part was when I asked the GT rep when they were going to inform customers that had placed orders that those orders were being canceled and he said, "as we call them to let them know their gun is in." :confused5
