A really really bug gun.

according to wikipedia this .950 caliber gun received a "sporting use exemption" from the BATFE so it does not need any special permit to buy. my question is what exactly are you hunting that requires a bullet that is almost an inch around. don't get me wrong, I want one, I just don't see a practical use for it...

Holy cow! That caliber is halfway between that (20mm of an AH-1 Cobra) ------------------------->
and the 30mm on an Apache. Must be for home(land) defense.

I think I'll use it as a deer rifle, that way the deer will already be quartered up and I won't have to track it

What does "practical use" have to do with firearms acquisition? :headscratch

Absolutely no use for this gun, but it would be cool to have a few of the rounds laying around as conversation pieces.
