Thanks for the clarification. I guess I have a different definition of laws passing.

The Senators did their job this term. The Representatives are the ones we need to start finding new jobs for.tacticool wrote:Thanks for the clarification. I guess I have a different definition of laws passing.

Re: SB 905 passed in Senate
That worries me. The version that came out of committee on the 16th was reasonable. I hope they didn't backslide (although it would be a hoot if they added renewal CHLs and not legislators. )artx wrote:Interesting - it was worked on in committee again -

I was thinking, after reading about SB 1581 today, that this might be a vehicle for some form of campus carry.artx wrote:or campus carry !apostate wrote:That worries me. There's absolutely no way to amend campus-carry to SB905. It's caption is too narrow and campus-carry wouldn't be germane.Owens wrote:That is what I was thinking.this might be a vehicle for some form of campus carry.

Charles, maybe an amendment making Universities one of the places Legislators would be exempt and permitted to carry.... then an amendment to include CHL renewals or CHLs in general..... German? Yes? Thoughts???

There was lots of time for Doctor of the Day so enough time to pass Campus Carry if they care about our lives and safety.

The Kampus Nationalsozialistischen will say it's not German. They need to disarm the people to rule.AFCop wrote: Charles, maybe an amendment making Universities one of the places Legislators would be exempt and permitted to carry.... then an amendment to include CHL renewals or CHLs in general..... Re: SB 905 passed in Senate
, be careful what you wish for...I know of several people in this forum who are extremely politically qualified, motivated and potentially well-funded to make a run on that gaggle of (insert your favorite term), that could very well make an impact on day one in the next session...Keith B wrote:You know folks, there is one other alternative to get this to apply to you; run for office in the House or Senate and get elected.
Because they got what they wanted, and there is no real pressure to do anything else for the serfs this session...
I'm not bitter, nor mad that this has happened, we had very little chance to effect the proper corrrective measures this time...So next session will be a little different...In some ways, more than others...
I hope that if there are any participants here that are in Senatorial District 7 that you remember these little things in the next election cycle...
