I wonder if the IRS will accept that as a valid educational expense for the tax write-off. :biggrinjester:

I was planning on getting a pocket auto to carry to school, but it looks like I won't have that excuse since private institutions won't be included.
We don't know what amendments are included...and anyway, there's a Homeland Security bill. Germane b/c we've caught a terrorist in Lubbock, going to Tech. Who knows if there's any would-be terrorists at Baylor, Abilene Christian, SMU, or TCU?
Good point, plus IIRC we taught the 9/11 airplane pilots in one of our flight schools .... San Jacinto College has flight training, I recall their Pro-Palestine hollaring in Government class...

Seecamp is my BUG, some others on here have them too; that's what IV kept saying; if 2178 passed, pass whatever "policy" you want, you won't see my Seecamp
I'm a student--I'm not made out of money. Seecamp and Rohrbaugh seem to be the top of the heap for pocket guns, but they're too rich for my blood for a few years yet.

I was looking at the LCP or or P238, or maybe the pocket 9's that SIG, Kimber, and Ruger have put out recently. I don't really have a problem with carrying a .380 but I'd prefer 9x19, and I have decent sized pockets.

I was even considering going with a Glock 26, since my usual carry is a Glock 19. The G26 doesn't seem like it would be harder to pocket carry than the S&W 642 I use as a BUG now.

It is. Trust me. I've tried both. J-frame pocket carries MUCH better/easier than a baby Glock. LCP pocket carries easier than either.

I'm a big guy with big pockets too. But Glock just weighs too much and is too bulky for most pocket carry applications.

:iagree: big time

The small Kel-Tec 9s aren't a bad choice if you're on a budget. They may need some TLC but you have some time for tuning before 9/1 if campus carry fully passes this year.
When in doubt
Vote them out!

Yeah, I need to get hands-on with a G26 and see for myself. The KelTec looks like a good option, the LC9 seems to be priced very reasonably (<$400 in the most recent Academy flier), and Kahr also released a budget version of the PM9 recently.

The S&W Bodyguard 380 is a really nice small 380. Feels good in the hand, for a small gun, and to me has less perceived recoil than the LCP. You can pick them up for about $350.

Of course, all this pocket gun talk is irrelevant if the House doesn't get their rears in gear and get some form of campus carry passed. :waiting:

Even if it does me no good, anything would be a good starting place.

Now time for all the committees to consider meeting. Then read them.

They're rude when they cut the messenger from the Senate. Where's the little boy who had the gavel earlier?
