Reciprocity Cliff Notes

Post by Heritage1 »

Ok, I'm probably going to get bashed on this but I have to ask.

At the last minute we've decided to fly to Florida to make a surprise visit for Mothers day. The wife and I are planning on taking our handguns with us and I wanted to know if anyone knew of an online or in-print reference guide that gave a run down on other states laws. I've spent the last two hours looking through Florida's statutes online and the way they have it is so messed up its a nightmare to try to read. I have the basic jist, they are really similar to us, but wondered if there was anything out there that anyone knew of. I've tried searching posts but had no luck.

I have the airline and TSA bases covered, based on what their websites and phone representatives say anyhow, and will report back on how that goes once we return.

Thanks!

I was wondering about the best way to check laws before road trips. Specialy the need to inform if stopped. This website is great. I'd recommend this to be posted with a sticky somwhere easy to spot so it doesn't get buried over time.

Thanks for this url.
