Happy Birthday TexasCHLforum!

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

As of 7:42 pm today, the TexasCHLforum will be two years old. I would like to say thanks to all of the members who have made this a true community of friends where we can engage in serious discussions, joke with one another, plan events, drool over photos, and pray with and for those in need. I also want to express my heart-felt appreciation to all of the moderators without whose help we could never have maintained the community atmosphere we enjoy today. Although TexasCHLforum is still a relatively small board compared to the giants, it has nevertheless grown far larger than I could handle by myself.

I still can't believe that we had 73 people on line at one time back on Feb. 26th of this year. It would be fun to exceed that number on this second anniversary, so if you are around the computer at 9:00 pm this evening, please sign on. I'll start an "I'm Here" thread at 9:00 pm, but you don't have to post to it for the counter to recognize you. (I'm going to look pretty silly if we have 6 people on at 9:00 pm, so don't let me down.)

Merry Christmas to all,
Chas.

Mr. Cotton,
Just wanted to say without you this place would not be possible. It is a safe, fun, and educational place to be. The atmosphere is wonderful because of the example you started. "You reproduce what you are." Thanks for providing the Forum.

Happy Birthday to the TexasCHLforum!

I've been waiting tables all day, so I'm going to go out and let someone serve me. Should be back by 9.

Can I just say that you guys, some of you which I've known for well over a year now, almost the full 2, are some of the finest that I have met and/or gotten to know. :)
