Houston "Hot Spot" Policing Doesn't Work

"There was no statistical evidence to show that the Crime Reduction Unit presence had a significant impact on violent crime,“ according to the 2009 study. "The trend of violent crime seemed to have its own pattern, which was not affected by the Crime Reduction Unit intervention.“

This is huge for my campus carry argument. All opponents claiming an increase of policing will do the job are effectively countered.
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere. -Thomas Jefferson

Maybe that's the key to defeating them. If they vote based on emotion, give them emotion.

"Why does Senator Anti oppose SB 354? Is he pro-mugger or pro-rapist or both?"
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

:hurry: Love it. If you can't beat their "strategy"...adapt it and use it to overcome. Well played!
