Another cop dies in the line of duty

Hero cop saves partner before succumbing to his wounds. No reason given in the story for why the perp opened fire in what seemed to be a routine traffic stop. Prayers to the family, fellow officers and friends of this brave officer.

What a tragedy. The guy was a passenger and it seemed to make no sense at all for him to suddenly attack the officer. What a terrible loss of a good man who was a credit to the uniform and his community. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Awful, senseless tragedy. Prayers to the officer's family and friends. Wishes for a speedy and certain punishment for the killer.

If anyone hears of a fund for the officer's family, please post here. This is something I would gladly contribute to even though I've never been to this town.

Nevermind, quick Google search found the fund

https://www.sspba.org/products.asp?cat=29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Anyone know how to ensure this money goes to the right place and that none of this is a dirty internet scam?

Tragic! Our thoughts and prayers go out for the officer's family.
