I feel sorry that you even holster that thing. That is just such a beauty... wow. Is that a Galco Royal Guard?

Cheers.

Yes its a Galco Royal Guard holster.
I did not plan on the Sig being my daily carry gun however I just love the way the grips fit my hand and it is an awesome shooter.
Changed the factory adjustable night sights to Tru-Glo TFO's which I really like.

Awesome choice there. I own the same exact holster and it treats me well. Looks like you haven't broken yours in yet. Mine looked exactly like that when I first purchased it through the 3rd week. Now it's dirty as heck. Cleaned it, but it's still showing it's manly wear on the sucker.

If you ever want to donate that beauty to a lovely family of Sigs, let me know. :P :tiphat:

1st post figure I'd chime in.. I was carrying a Zastava EZ9 but it was VERY heavy at 32oz (empty)..

I went out and purchased a Sig Pro 2022 model and used the same leather Yaqui slide I've had for about a year now.. very comfy with no 'poking' in my thigh like an IWB would do.. weight is about 26 oz (empty)..

@ 5' 8" and 185 I am not a big guy at all and this riding at say 2pm works for me..

Got 145 rounds thru the pistol and am VERY happy thus far with this combo..

Old rigs were a KelTec P32 with the 'clip' on my pocket on my DARK colored shorts/pants or my Glock 30 (.45 acp) in an UM IWB nylon rig.. which also worked well with its shorter bbl and 9 round mag vs the 10..

Anyway hi all.

That's purty sweet.

I'd be afraid I'd scratch it.

It is like buying a new car. Once it has received the first scratch or two you quit worrying and beat it to death.

I don't carry the Sig all the time.
Sometimes I carry a S&W M&P .40 Compact

This is my favorite... My XD40 4"

On April 5th:
I'm hanging at my daughter and son-in-laws house cleaning out my Explorer and doing some minor maintenance when I need to climb under the vehicle. Not wanting to lie on my gun or possibly scratch it up I pulled the IWB out and laid the whole set up on top of the front tire ... Why there??? Who knows... It kinda seemed like a safe enough place and away from the kids...

My son-in-law is trying to attach a loose piece of trim and decides he needs to pull it in the garage to do it...

He Jumps into the drivers seat while I'm busy with something else, he pulls forward and BAM he runs over my XD40 sitting in my leather GALCO IWB holster... :banghead:

He gets all nervous thinking that he just broke my gun and I was like ahhhhh, don't sweat it I shouldn't have put it on the wheel let's just see what the damage is... If any...

I pull it from the holster and...

Not a darn thing is wrong with it... Not a SCRATCH on the gun but a few scratches on the holster...

We test fired it and it worked without issue ...

Just one more reason this weapon IS AWESOME :anamatedbanana

My latest acquisition:

Image

M&P40 with Trijicon night sights. I bought it for a duty gun though, so while it's technically a daily carry, it's not concealed ;-)

Well, Tucker is officially faster than the DPS. This will be mine once the plastic arrives.

I love the look of Tucker holsters. It makes me wish for open carry so I can show it off. :tiphat:

I agree.

That's a good looking rig.

Makes me want to by the holster now and figure out what gun to put in it later.

To be honest, Longtooth's sig was what sold me on the HF1. I kept seeing it in post after post and had to have one of my own.

Here's my other Tucker.

Dang! I have been wanting to order an HF1, gotta figure if i want it for the EMP or once I get the kinks outta the Loaded Champeen. At any rate, it is a beautiful holster, first fell in love with it on account of Longtooth's avatar photo. Will have at least one, for the three weeks that we have jacket type OWB carry here in Texas. For a fat boy like me, at least. Will proudly wear it openly on the private property camping trips, or out on my Beloved Old Lady's family land out to Mineral Wells. I ramble. Enjoy that tent for your lovely smokewagon, friend. Carry on.
