Antis would love to hear about those shootings, Not good for CHLers, but wait a sec? Maybe the shooter was a felon?

Well, he will be since he was charged with aggravated assault, but where does it say he was previously a felon or doesn't have a CHL?

No records under the shooter's name in the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice database -- so he wasn't a felon until now...

Stupid mistake that will follow him for the rest of his life. And to answer your original question, no, it doesn't.

Medrano committed vehicular assault, Rankin shot at him to prevent him from fleeing the scene. something about preventing a felon from fleeing the scene of a crime?

it's a stretch, but hey, I'm no lawyer.
