Grand Opening: Defensive & Concealed Guns in Houston

#1

Post by sss »

Just wanted to let you guys know that Defensive & Concealed Guns in West Houston is hosting a grand opening event this Saturday. They're located at 14520 Memorial Dr. near Dairy Ashford and Memorial Dr. I've been following them on Facebook and it looks like they'll be raffling a brand new gun as part of the grand opening:

Free Brand New In the Box Beretta Bobcat 21, 22 l.r.

No purchase necessary, just come to our Grand Opening Saturday April 2nd. Sign our guest book and get your ticket for the raffle.

We will start at 11:00, ribbon cutting at 6:00, and raffle at 8:00. Don’t need to be present to win the handgun.

Need to fill form 4473 and pass background check.

Defensive & Concealed Guns Inc.
14520 Memorial Dr. Suite 18
Houston Texas 77079
713-984-8673
They mostly carry defensive guns... pistols, shotguns, ammo (defense and plinking), rifles, holsters, belts, and all sorts of accessories.

I found out about these guys just by spotting the "Gun Store" sign on Memorial Dr in January. Stopped in and have bought an MTAC holster, some Glock extended magazines, and some other gear. I've gotten some pricing on custom orders and have found their pricing to be comparable to Academy and the other big-box stores, but with superior service. Excellent pricing and a great experience thus far.

Hope to see you guys there this weekend!

Note: I don't work for or represent the store - I'm just a loyal customer looking to spread the word about a new shop in my neighborhood.
Carrying since 02/06/2009.

It's always nice to have another place to go on this side of town. Thanks for the heads-up guys. You didn't happen to notice if they had an LC9 in stock, didya? Nobody on this side of town is getting one yet.

I will have to stop by this place sometime during my lunch break. If their prices are competitive and service is great, i will have no problem giving them some business. I need to pick up a g19 or g21 soon. Thanks for sending out the info!

when did this business open? i've lived in the Memorial area for about a year and a half now and drive by that shopping center all the time but haven't ever noticed the sign. i'll definitely be going by there saturday to enter the raffle, and probably pick up a gun belt while i'm at it.

They opened in January. The sign is really hard to spot from Memorial, but the store is pretty easy to find once you've turned into the actual shopping center.

@G192627: Likewise! :)
