Homeowner fires warning shot during chase from residence

Warning shots may be good theater for TV and movies, but not for real life. What was he warning? Crazy man with a gun?

He's lucky he didn't injure an innocent. I wonder if he will get charged for illegal discharge?

This is a good story for learning and thinking about tactics. I can see a person becoming very angry if he sees someone running out of his house carrying something and firing out of shear anger and frustration. I would suggest that all gunowners think about it before it happens and make your decision then, not in the heat of passion.
