GA: Alleged cop killer demands TV coverage of surrender
In Athens, Georgia, Friday a man who is accused of killing one police officer and wounding another earlier this week took nine of his own family members hostage and held them until police met his demand that his surrender be broadcast on live television. The man reportedly was afraid police would kill him as he surrendered. He then surrendered without further incident. He stated that he regretted killing the officer (IOW, confessed to murder on TV).
The suspect had already served 12 years in prison for a felony. One of his brothers was killed after attempting to shoot a police officer.

Fear, anger, hatred, and greed. The devil's all-you-can-eat buffet.

It smells like a killing revenge for his brother. Once released he had the intention to kill an officer or more of the same Dept who shot and killed his brother. His family are not innocent victims but accomplices. They gave him refuge until he was cornered at his family place. This guy shoould beg for the needle.

Granted that you have to be skeptical of all media reports and press releases, it sounds like this family has a very warped value system.
The guy probably knew that if he didn't surrender he would be killed eventually. If you find a photo of him you can see why he would not quietly blend into the population somewhere. Probably he is hoping to get a plea bargain for life without parole.
The point I wanted to highlight was that this type of criminal is out there, committing multiple crimes including murder, until they do something that ends their career—either being found guilty of a capital offense or running into a bullet.

They also go on college campuses. Something John Woods refuses to admit is possible.seamusTX wrote:People like this are driving the streets every day.
If anyone is raped, beaten or murdered on a college campus from this day forward
The senators who blocked SB 354 from being considered on 4/7/11 and
The members of the house calendar committee who haven't scheduled HB 750
Have the victims' blood on their hands.

This is what I got searching Google. It says it's his booking photo. I think he could blend into many neighborhoods and colleges in Texas.seamusTX wrote:If you find a photo of him you can see why he would not quietly blend into the population somewhere.

That photo doesn't show the tattoos. I don't want to copy a copyrighted photo from another site.
Granted, there are a lot of weird people everywhere these days, but it's easier for the cops to find someone who stands out.

The picture I posted was originally from the Clarke County Georgia Sheriff's department so I hope that's allowed.

I would think mug shots are in the public domain, like anything produced by a government agency using taxpayer dollars.

I was hoping that he was going to be one of those," The cops are never gonna take me alive." type guys, but like most of them they a babies hiding behind their dysfunctional families' dresses, balling like a baby. True example of a worthless thug. It is too bad there are more out there breeding like rabbits.
