Austin: LEO shoots another LEO in the foot

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

Austin: LEO shoots another LEO in the foot

#1

Post by seamusTX »

In Austin early Friday morning a police officer accidentally shot another police officer in the foot when he fell while investigating a prowler report.

No information on the condition of the injured officer.

Two officers have just learned why you should keep your finger off the trigger until on target.

And I can't help but wonder what the roll call's will be like for the next few days after either of them come back to normal duty. Cops are notoriously unforgiving of mistakes like this amongst their own. Most of it will be humorous, but pointed.

Only if you're "professional enough" to do it.
Be kind to your web footed friends.

:shock: I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for the guy. So, I'll just
"rlol" :smilelol5: :lol:: :lol:

I love it when he says, "I'm the only one here professional enough to handle a Glock .40" then the gun goes off.

I just read this week he lost his law suit. He sued the DEA because the video went public.

Oh my Lord...the guy shoots himself in the foot. Then, in that adrenalized condition, wants to show the audience another weapon. He wants to show...what? That he can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'? It gets even more sad, at the end of the video, where you see a parent get up, with their child, to leave.

That could have been a dead child. Anyone in that room could have died that day.

Sorry, but the man is a fool.

WRT to the OP, the outcome for the officer who fell and shot his partner in the foot (actually, both feet) is here: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=40778&p=525310#p525305" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But.....Only Cops should have guns. I'll bring this up to my friend who thinks only COPS should have guns.
