Welcome from the Rio Grande Valley. Hope you enjoy this forum. My eyes have been opened, and I hopefully have a larger knowledge base for when I go get my CHL in a couple of months.

There's also quite a few husband and wife "teams" on here. Middle Age Russ and I enjoy taking classes together and range time together! I think the competitiveness is fun... my Valentines gift of my Colt Snubbie put me 1 carry weapon up on him, so he got an AR 15 which I enjoyed when we took it out first time yesterday!

Finally got my license thursday night! Fyi, walmart really isn't a good place to go with a concealed weapon. Another side note; it's is good for most people that you can't kill someone for being stupid.

:headscratch why is that? i think that anywhere you're legally allowed to is a good place to carry a concealed weapon. i'll admit that sometimes i feel uncomfortable being in an overcrowded store with my gun on me, just for fear of people bumping into me. i'm not really concerned too much about whether or not they'll feel that hard lump of metal and plastic strapped to my hip, it just hurts like heck when the butt of my M&P gets jabbed up into my ribs.

Probably on his WallyWalk ...Notice that shirt with the sweater, the 2 layers, helps prevent "printing" The rest of the "outfit" distracts from the beltline, add to that the beads he's about to buy .... "rlol"

He's probably using smartcarry holster for his primary, (sweater in front for concealment) perhaps using a purse carry for his BUG

@wildbill. I had the same experience when my chl instructor took my picture. It was early in the morning and I had not slept well the night before so my picture looked like I had just got my face worked over lol. I had to go to walgreens to get some better ones done. I don't think it would have been a good idea showing my chl to a police officer with a mugshot looking picture.
