Lil' Girl - Welcome to the Forum and Congrats on your CHL. I told my CHL instructor that my photo made me look like I was a felon. I am not.

Welcome! The moderators will get you hooked up to the "ladies" area soon.

I am with you on the bad picture on the CHL... mine looks like one of those pics of the dogs where the nose is really close and the rest of the face is all out of proportion... of course it was taken after being out on the range, LOL!

Look around and enjoy learning from these awesome folks!

OP:

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the plastic.
Didn't it seem to take forever to arrive?

The day our CHL class had their photos taken the first few people
had theirs taken inside, but the photographer (instructor's bride) decided
it was too dark in the hotel meeting room.

So most of us had our pictures taken outside in the blinding sun, straight on.
After just coming out of the building, the sunlight made me squint and look pained.
I don't like my CHL photo either.

Well, girl, you say you have a big gun. Don't keep us in suspense - what is it?
No matter what it is, most of us will still talk to you. :-)

By the way, you can go to the "User Control Panel" and enter your hometown
to the "Location" field. That way, people in your neck o' the woods will know
you are around. You might even get a range invite.

Welcome to you, and congratulations on obtaining your CHL.

May you NEVER need it.
