The couple charged in the story I posted were guilty as sin from all accounts.

I doubt the sign had / will have much to do with the jury's decision, but notice how it's all over the media. Now if someone were involved in a justifiable / possibly justifiable situation, that's a different story entirely, but the media coverage would probably be similar.

I believe the shooter would still be painted in a negative light due to the sign.

I remember this story, what wasn't mentioned in this article is that the "our levee" statement that the shooter referred to was actually city owned public property. In our local paper they had a layout of the area and they said they left their property and killed someone on public property. something to this effect.

I think they should be charged with murder because they chose to shoot indiscriminately at vehicle's which by what was said in the paper not even their property before having any kind of inkling that they posed a threat.
It always amazes me what people think they can do. Part of our subdivision backs on an old quarry that's now a couple of ponds. Cliffs of about 80 feet or so. Each owner's property ends about 10-12 feet from the (current) edge of the cliff. Evidently several of the owner's along there think they can exercise eminent domain over this area and the two on the ends have extended their fence to the edge of the cliff, with gates, and put up signs that basically say "this is ours, keep out". When taking my walkabouts I tended to ignore the signs. Now that I have my CHL....

The shirt first: it's funny. Irreverant humor. I wouldn't wear it because of the mindset of certain people.

The story: that trash should be taken out. Literally.

the closest gun-shirt that I wear was bought at Wal-Mart & says "I support the right to arm bears" with a picture of a bear holding a rifle.

The funny part is I remember being at Keller's in Dallas and woman told her husband under her breath "he is an undercover cop". I nearly laughed when she said it. I like funny shirts but this is ridiculous.
That reminds me of a truck I once saw with bright Orange/Yellow plates that said "Unmarked Vehicle" on it!: I'll try to find the pictures that I took. I had to take pictures, because I knew that no one would ever believe me if I didn't!

I had a t-shirt when I was younger, and it had red steaks all over it, like I was bleeding from cuts under the shirt.

On the front, it said, "Official Member Grizzly Bear Artificial Insemination Team"
