In Chinese and Korean restaurants dog costs extra. The cheap dishes mostly are chicken.

The idea that they catch stray dogs or cats is absurd. Strays are really tough and gamy. (Don't ask me how I know.)

Although we haven't seen comments recently from him, there is a forum member
whose screen name is "gringogigante".

IIRC, he is a big guy and when it used to be safe to visit Mexico, the locals bestowed
that moniker on him.

His screen name make me grin whenever I see him post.

When I was stationed in Okla City - admittedly many years ago - it was interesting to note that all the "Chinese Restaurants" that I knew about, and several of the Mexican ones, were run by Vietnamese immigrants. At that time Oklahoma had one of the largest Vietnamese populations in the US because many of the churches there sponsored refugees from Vietnam. I guess the Vietnamese folks figured out fast that Chinese and Mex restaurants were crowd-drawers.

Houston and its southwest suburbs also have a large Vietnamese population. Many of the "Chinese" restaurants are run by Vietnamese people, though more often they outright call them Vietnamese restaurants now and have better food.

I hasten to add these are hardworking people and huge enemies of communism.

Also I have been in a Chinese restaurant that was run by Mexicans. Go figure.

P.S.: This is getting pretty far off topic. Probably we should stick to the subject of stupid criminals whose guns don't work.
