I have not "left the building" and I am not "whining" about anything. I simply asked a question and got reamed for asking it. As far as range time, dont have to pay for it, my grandfather has a lease that I can shoot on, and ammo that I can shoot, thats a moot point. As far as not meeting TX requirements, doubtful, no arrests, no child support payments(my wife and my children live with me) there is nothing but the dollar amount keeping me from carrying. Thanks for theses "job offers" but as stated above, I already have 2 and possibly a 3rd if I choose to take it. oh, and I never said that I WAS using public internet, just that I could be.........Thank you all for your time. This is farewell.
This is the internet no need to get all bent out of shape because you and another member butted heads.
No one ever said you had to dish out the $240 all at once. Look at my sig line, I did the online application 7 months before I took the class. Just so you know you have 1-2 years to complete the whole process. Online app is good for 1 year, CHL 100 form is good for 2 years.
So pay for the CHL, then later take the class, and when you get some extra dough get your prints, or any order, do what works for you.
Good luck and hope this helps.
