Cleaning Interval on EDC

I've been breaking in a new holster with a rough-side-in design, and I've noticed lots of leather "fuzz" inside my gun. Barrel, breech, around the hammer, pretty much all over. I'm doing a quick wipe down and blow out about every other day to keep things lint free.

Quick funny/scary story... When I took my first CHL class (NC, 1995) the instructor inspected everyone's weapon before we went to the range for the proficiency. One guy couldn't figure out how to get the slide open on his .32 (??) pocket pistol (SA). When the instructor finally pried it open, it was filled (completely full) of pocket lint. It obviously was carried frequently, but not fired or cleaned in years. It would almost certainly have either not fired, or caught fire if used.

Normally, if I've not been to the range I'll do a light cleaning once a month (typically I'm shooting more often than that, but, sometimes life gets in the way)...

Just wondering...

How often do you clean your EDC?

Just for clarity, let's not call a quick wipe down a "cleaning"
Let's say the minimum for a "cleaning" involves some disassembly (SA), cleaning and lubrication.

I try to shoot my EDC every month, but even if I don't, I clean it every 2 weeks. I wipe away any lint build up whenever I notice it.

I inspect both BUG and primary at least once or twice weekly.
Clean after shooting, every time.... and if my inspection shows it needs cleaning, it gets cleaned too.

Not my EDC, but I cleaned my "keepathome" Glock 19 in 1990, and also when it needed it again in 2009 after firing it at the range.

My brother has an old single shot .410 shotgun leaning against a wall at his house, (no ammo) I cleaned for him, only 5 dead all dried up scorpions fell out of the barrel

On the pistol that is carried on that particular day it gets a wipe down/inspection before it goes in the holster and when it comes out of the holster at night for bed side duty.

Safe residents all get a wipe down/inspection every week with cleanings when needed, seems like one or two a weekend or if its a rainy weekend that number goes up.

Any firearm that gets shot recieves a cleaning within 48 hours and if it shoots corrosive ammunition the cleaning begins soon as I get in the door from the range.

Shot one the other day that hasn't been cleaned in 60 years. Worked like a champ. Mostly I do a visual check once or twice a month and a complete take down cleaning 3 or 4 times a year.

Although it would cover some of the other categories I
think As Needed should have been included.
I inspect often but usually clean only as needed.

Of course I am the one who determines as needed.

I check it weekly and will clean as needed. I will reoil and clean at least every two weeks to a month. Usually I can get by with just having to push a patch through the barrel to get some lint out. I will also take apart my mags and clean them out about every 2-3 months to get any lint and dust out of there.

I clean any gun after shooting regardless of the round count, but if I haven't shot a gun, I generally only clean it when I happen to notice it getting dry or if there's a visible buildup of dust. My EDC guns are loaded, holstered, and then not removed unless they're going back in the safe, so they tend not to get too dirty over a few weeks. Every month to month and a half is what it generally works out to, but it's not a scheduled activity.

I clean my EDC every time I shoot it, but I go shooting at least once every two weeks. I want to stay sharp. So I marked "every time I shoot" but every two weeks would have been accurate too.
