FREE NRA Membership, after gift card from BassPro
I came across this offer the other day.
http://www.basspronraspecialoffer.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Sign up through this web site and get:
1. 1 year NRA membership... Cost: $25... Value: Priceless
2. BassPro Gift Card.... Cost: $0... Value: $25
3. NRA Duffel Bag.... Cost: $0... Value: $?? (maybe $25-$30?)
4. Choice of NRA magazine, access to NRA discounts on various things (car and hotel have been useful)... etc.
So... If you've been on the fence, here's a ZERO NET COST way to join the NRA for a year and see what you think. And if you don't live near a BassPro, you can use the gift card at their online store too.
Just do it.!

EDIT 1-Jan-12: Updated link for this deal is:
https://membership.nrahq.org/forms/sign ... K=Y0GVB10C" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Deal is also good for renewals.!

Done. Thanks for the heads up!
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

So, I just signed my Dad up... He'll be surprised when that stuff all comes in the mail...He's pro gun, but he doesn't get involved NEARLY often enough...
Here's a question: if I did this offer for myself, given that I just renewed my membership for a year, would it tack on an extra year to my given membership?

Carry guns:
Springfield V-10 3.5" 1911(thanks again, Texasvet)
Glock 26
Springfield XD40 4"
Llama 1911 (hey, don't knock it. Never had a SINGLE reliability problem with it. Over 1000 rounds through it.)
(lots of long guns, and a few other pistols for other use)

I don't know.... You can call them and ask... Be sure to post the answer here..firefighter3217 wrote:So, I just signed my Dad up... He'll be surprised when that stuff all comes in the mail...He's pro gun, but he doesn't get involved NEARLY often enough...

Also... I am AMAZED by the amount of email I get from the NRA.. I had to call them a few weeks ago and ask them to shut it off... And I had to "unsubscribe" to several things.... The deluge is down to a trickle..

Well, I just used this offer as an excuse to go ahead and sign up for a Life Membership. The Bass Pro Gift Card was just icing on the cake!

I just wanted to mentioned that this offer still appears to work, as I used it to sign up on Friday. I selected the digital edition magazine, since it will be lighter to carry when I travelRoyGBiv wrote:http://www.basspronraspecialoffer.com/

Signed up last night. Been procrastinating on it for a while now, just like I'd been doing with my CHL. Couldn't let it pass me by now.
