Pretty bleak future for me.
I really need some prayers. My wife had a stroke with her complete knee replacement and it took 4 months to get her home.
Two months later, I have been told I have esophageal cancer. It is stage 4, and has spread to the liver, lymph nodes, and lung. Severe shortness of breath, anemia, and pain means I am no longer working, and will begin chemo after 2/11/11.
No insurance means there will be no extra measures to keep me alive.
Thanks gang, Larry.

Peace be with you and your wife. Lord, hear our prayer.

I am deeply sorry to hear about your situation. A close friend of mine from my law enforcement days battled the same type of aggressive cancer last year.
My family's prayers will be with you and your wife.

I don't know what to say, but know you and yours will be in our prayers!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Larry, we will be praying for you. My own problems pale in comparison. God be with you.

Larry, you and your wife have a small army of people praying for you. Lord, use this as an opportunity to bring others to You with Your healing hand. Let Larry's healing be a call to the unbeliever and a reminder to Your children that we serve a great God.

My thoughts go out to you and your wife. I can't imagine how you must feel. Just remember cancer can be beat and people can recover from a stroke and lead very normal lives. Never give up hope or the will to fight.

Larry,
You and your wife are in my family's prayers. If you need anything let me know. I am not but a short drive away.
Take care and God Bless.
