great read txi, thanks for posting. Made me think a little bit more as to why when I tell LEO's keep up the great job after a traffic stop I always get a turn around from them as if saying "are you for real?"
Thanks again to those that do what needs to be done.
Where?
We will pray for you. Enjoy the Penal Code class.
Thanks Carl. I'll be at NTCOG in Arlington. It's a Regional Academy.
When I get done I'll be working for Coppell.
That's awesome. May I invite you over to realpolice.net. The have a verified section where the officers status is verified by site staff. The verifieds are identified by a little tag by their name, and there is a public section where anyone can ask a question, but only verifieds can answer.
Once you are certified, you can access an area restricted to verified LEO's. It contains tons of great information and discussion. Be sure you send me a PM there if you sign up.

Congrats.KRM45. --Hope you all the sucess. I'm thinking you have a tough
road ahead. I've allways said it takes a speicial person to be a LEO or a
school teacher.
Congratulations on passing your TCLEOSE exam - lots of pressure is now off of you. Now on to Coppel and your field training - the real fun soon begins!
By the way, is Richard Zavala still the Academy Director at COG?

Richard was a Sgt at our department when he retired and went over to COG full-time. I heard he eventually became the director over there. It's been about 10 years since I've seen him. Next time I'm in Arlington I'll have to stop by and say hello.
Again, good luck to you and welcome to the LE family.

You'll get a felony stop and like it!
I think they serve PB's and J's for lunch now in most county jails...You'll love it!

We graduate from the Academy next week then start the real learning process.
WELL CONGRATULATIONS! I know you are glad to get TCLEOSE over and done with. I am going to send you a copy of my DL so you will remember I am one of the ones who prayed you through and I don't want a ticket
