AMT .380 9mm Kurz BackUp
Fires well. I recently (1 April) got my Elsie Pea and would like to rid myself of this beast. I have fired hundreds of rounds through it - it totally rocks...it's just heavy. 18 oz. LCP is 9. What is a good price? I'm thinking $175? Fair? I didn't buy it. I was my Dad's.

The way I have checked value's lately is look on gunbroker.com and see what they are going for. Don't necessarily look at the asking price, but find one or two that have bids going and watch what they sell for. You can look at the 'Buy it Now' price and if a bunch of them match, that is the top dollar you might expect, but will probably need to lower the price a little to get a buyer.
Good luck!
Good luck!

I have seen them at gun shows for around $300 asking price, depending on the condition. I have never seen one as low as $175. I have one that I would sell for $300.

If it helps, I saw an "OMT" (limited production precursor to AMT as explained by the seller) at the Big Town gun show this past weekend. Identical gun but with wooden grips. Seller was asking $230. Nice piece but as you point out, kind of heavy when you consider the options available today.

True, the single action one, though part aluminum, is heavier than the plastics currently available, but the size is great and the additional "thumb safety" is more comforting in a pocket to some ... I like mine. It's almost the same size as a diamondback DB380, which if they ever get it 100% reliable, is a good alternate, but more expensive ... my DB380 needs more diet run through it before I trust it as much as my AMT... of course ... those are "back ups" I'd hesitate to have it as a "primary" unless there was no other choice.bpet wrote:If it helps, I saw an "OMT" (limited production precursor to AMT as explained by the seller) at the Big Town gun show this past weekend. I've seen one or two at gun shows priced higher and not near as good a shape as the one above ...
I'm also curious, though I already own one ... still available?
or even ... new higher price? (if available)

Don't sell it! In a few more years it will be a collectors item! Truly a fine gun that eats everything you feed it. My plan is to sell mine in maybe 10-15 years, if I live that long.

Boy, that LCP was a hot item not too long ago. Curious to see how their pocket 9's are reviewed.
