Texas City: Kick-in robbery-burglary followed by remorse?

In Texas City Thursday around 11:30 p.m., a man kicked in the door of a residence in the 2100 block of 13th Avenue North and stole several items, including the female resident's purse. The victim was home at the time and was not otherwise harmed.

The stolen items were found a short time later at a nearby church.

No description of the suspect is available.
