I regularly carry a XDSC in a Supertuck with a Wilderness Instructors belt. Very comfortable and concealable. 5'10" and 215 here.

I am 5.8 and weigh 190.
I carry my xd40sc in a Crossbreed Supertuck with holsters from the beltman. I also have a couple of belts from Crossbreed for causal wear but they don't look nice enough to wear with a suit.

The super tuck seems to be the one everyone has. Not just for this gun but all around. Guess that is where I will start. Thanks again to all the replies.

Where do you live? Someone in your area might be able to recommend local shops where you can try it on.

I own and carry the XDsc .40 all the time in rotation with my Kahr. I prefer to carry it OWB with a Don Hume OT holster. It is very stiff leather and holds the guns high and tight to my side and I can cover it well with just a T-shirt. I actually prefer the comfort of the OWB carry better but the best concealment I have with the least issues and most comfort is from my Crossbreed MiniTuck and Kahr. It is the most comfortable IWB holster made IMHO. For the XD IWB, get the Crossbreed Super Tuck. You won't be disappointed.

I really intended on going with a super tuck until I closely examined the comp-tacs and how they appear to "draw" better then the crossbreed. they almost appear to be the same holster.

I have a comp-tac and a crossbreed.1s1k52 wrote:any comments?
I like the crossbreed better, as there is more leather backing than in the comp-tac.
What this means, for me, With the crossbreed backing, the hooks do not rub my body at all, as the leather covers them, however with the comp-tac, the hooks rub my body (and irritates my skin) as the leather does not cover it.

FYI, they have changed the backing on the comp-tac so that there is now more leather. I personally like backing a local company.
