WEATHERFORD - A Parker County homeowner was shot in the arm after an exchange of gunfire with a suspected home intruder, who was shot and killed early Friday morning.
Authorities said the man was sound asleep when he awoke to the sounds of dogs barking at about 5 a.m. in the 500 block of Spring Creek Parkway in Weatherford. Getting up to check out the noise, the homeowner saw his backdoor ajar and the man inside his home.
