Houston: Former DPS employees sold bogus driver licenses

In Houston, today, a former DPS trooper pled guilty to selling fake driver licenses. Another DPS employee pled in the same case last month.

Each faces up to 15 years in the slammer and fines up to $150,000.

A third man, who was not a DPS employee, is on trial for acting as a middleman.

The going rate for a fake license was $3,000 to $3,500.

It's my understanding that, if you are an illegal of a certain ethnicity, you can get a fake DL, fake social and register to vote for much less than that.

How is that possible? Bill White and his sanctuary scam supporters want us to believe they can't even afford a few hundred dollars for the liability insurance required by law.

The difference is these are fake Legit documents. A real bonafide Texas DL, just with either bogus info or sold to somebody that would not have qualified. A real document, which would pass any scrutiny the cops could bring. Much bigger deal than a counterfeit that somebody uses to buy some booze.
